Help Writing 2014

If I would to describe helping, I would describe it as kindness. Helping means taking care of each other and being nice. Helpful words and actions mean’s that you are a very nice friend. Assisting or doing favours is very helpful! Help is always about the right attitude and the right behaviour. If someone you know is depressed make sure your a helping hand!

Doing help at times can be hard but the thing you need to focus on is just making someone happy or feel well. Never let anyone down for what they look like or how they do things. Its not polite! I recommend that help can help you in life and also be apart of you everywhere you go. Never let help disappear from you!

ALWAYS HELP!

Museum Writing 2014

“Woohoo,” I said loudly! I was very thrilled that the year 7 at Point England school were proudly invited to the Auckland city museum. My teachers were telling instructions so we couldn’t be in danger when we got there. I haven’t came to school all last week so I had to ring my parents for permission at the office.

We waited for the bus, It was pretty late but we still made it in time. 20 minutes had past and we were already sitting down waiting for what we were doing for our first activity. We had another glob of instructions and then went up stair to have our morning tea. After that our adventure with the museum started.

We all looked at maori patterns and also pacific patterns. I was amazed about underwater and also volcano eruptions. When we stood inside the volcano room it was scary but interesting at the same time. Seeing the native birds were awesome! I loved seeing the fish swimming and the lizard changing colours.

“It is time to go back to our eating area,” said Mr Barks! I was sad to leave all the awesome activity but as soon as we finish eating lunch we had one more activity. I wonder what it is? Our final activity was to find and take pictures of what was shown on a printed paper.

We took photo’s of a wonderful sculpture and also flowers, ducks, acorns, and us. It was so awesome to end our day at the amazing Auckland museum. Our adventure was over and we took the first bus to school. I really enjoyed the museum!

Tangle Pattern Writing

On the first day of school our first task for term 4 was to create our own tangle pattern because the theme for this term was Art Attack. I was very exciting to get working hard and improving my art. My tangle pattern was personal about me drawing and how I would draw my piece.
A tangle pattern is weaved with a lot of other patterns. When the pattern has been done It looks very artistic!

How to make a tangle pattern is just by six easy steps. First step, you must always get your equipment ready and also your design.  Make sure you always have a plan before you start. Second step, make sure you take your drawing seriously because you wouldn't want people to see how bad your drawing is. Third step, always make sure your audience love your art and really admire it. Fourth step, when you're designing you must think about what you like to draw and what you don’t. Think simple and relaxing so you don’t need to stress.

Fifth step, When you're begging to draw just chill and give it your all. Drawing is hard at times but the most thing you would need to do is just have fun and draw draw draw. Sixth step, When your finish your drawing with a pencil you might just want to draw over with a felt pen.

When your tangle pattern is done you can squeeze all the bits of pieces together and that is it for your wonderful art. THE END!

Camp - Willow Park

During the holiday highlights that I’ve been throw was awesome and very exciting. I had an amazing week at camp, (MONDAY - FRIDAY) and I was so excited to spend a whole week with my cousins. Camp was so fun and amazing! It was the right time for me to have a break from my family.

When I arrived at school (PT ENGLAND), I was so excited to go to willow park twice and  I was well prepared. I just wanted to scream and hurry up to leave. THRILLING! As we were leaving we had a great talk so all of our crew wouldn't be lost.

Seeing willow park still in the right shape was fantastic and very great. I still remember the first time I arrived at willow park. Playing cool games and having fun actives were so the boom! I loved that week so much! As Friday came I was so bummed and I would always say that the week was so fast.

Leaving willow park was sad but seeing my wonderful cousins were exciting as well. Willow park will always be my favourite campgrounds! I will go back next year!

Cross Country Writing

There I stood poised and almost ready for action. Butterflies wiggling around in my stomach!  In my mind, I was struggling to focus on the race. I wondered if I would survive?

“Who’s ready?” said Mr.Burt. As soon as Mr.Burt clapped his STARTER I ran as fast as I could. This was a big challenge for me and my muscles because I felt so weak with them running a long distance. Running fast made me exhausted so I began to speed walk.

When I reached half way one of the teachers told me to finish the race off. I began to run again because I knew that I was close to the finish line. My heart was pounding, it was trying to escape from my chest. My lungs were breaking down just as my muscles. When I finished I was so relieved that I survived.

I came 7th place! Even though I came 7th I was still a champion that day because I tried my hardest and every person that tries is always a champion! GOBSMACKING!!!!!

Mascot Story And Design

A mascot is any person, animal, or object thought to bring luck or anything used to represent a group with a common public identity. Mascots are also used as fictional, representative spokespeople for consumer products.

My mascots name is Kawa and she represents New Zealand and also the beautiful tree named pohutukawa. She loves playing with kids and mostly likes watching the commonwealth games. Kawa first started as a little plant and then as she grew she wished that she would be alive. Her wish came true and then she carried on from that day.

Iggy Vs Nicki

Iggy-Azalea-and-Nicki-Minaj_article_story_large.jpg

These beautiful women have been in some pretty yucky problems that involves rapping, beauty, but sometimes fashionable dressing. They have the same talent but don’t have the same future before they rest in bad business with there lives.

Iggy Azalea was born 7th of June 1990, Amethyst Amelia Kelly, better known by her stage name Iggy Azalea, is an Australian recording artist and model from Mullumbimby, New South Wales. At the age of 16 she left the United Kingdom and travelled to Pursue career for a hip hop music recording. As you know Iggy Azalea has been in some great bussiness with different popularities but millions don’t appreciate.

Nicki Minaj was born 8th of December 1982, she was hitting a lot of hip hop rapping is loads of countries. Nicki is the most fashionable person I know “Because” I’ve been inspired with her dresses and modeling at the red carpet but mostly on television. She really brings her bang out everywhere she goes.

Echolocation Writing

What is ECHOLOCATION? Echolocation is the transmission of sound waves to locate objects. Whales, among other sea animals, use echolocation in order to see through the sometimes murky depths of the deep ocean. Bats also use echolocation for food or from far far away places.

In some bats the sounds are made and sent out by their noses but, most send different sounds through their mouth. The sounds bounce off objects and prey in their surroundings like insects or branches, and are picked up by the bat's sensitive ears. Although bats have good eyesight, they depend on the echolocation system to navigate as well as capture their food. Bats give off pulses at very high frequencies that are not audible to humans, at an impressive rate of 200 pulses per second.

Marine mammals also use echolocation as a means of sight. Thought to be an "Auditory Imaging System" by different species of mammals, echolocation involves the vocalizations by the echo-locating mammal which detects the echoes of sounds and uses them to produce 3-Dimensional information.

Writing Fiafia Master

As I arrived at school to perform for fiafia I was really thrilled but I had butterflies in my stomach. Thousands of people came happy to see our school perform. Finding my dressing room was so hard! Seeing all the other groups with amazing costumes were awesome. I think that the kapa haka group was fantastic!  As I walked up the stage I was shy but I felt confident within me. Performing is great but really nerve-racking.

When I started to dance I was so shy but I looked at the crowd and smiled and enjoyed the rest of my dance. As we walked off the stage the whole group said to each other well done. I like to also say thank you to my coaches for teaching me how to do our dance moves and our wonderful helpers with our costumes. Fiafia is the second great thing to do for the end of the term.

Our teachers were so thrilled so they said that we were going to have a shared lunch. I was so happy! Go Niuean group!

I wish and hope that the other fiafia would be so fantastic and awesome for people to come to our school and watch our children perform so wonderfully.

Once upon a time there lived a girl named Nassie. She was very good at dancing and she was very great at performing at concerts. One morning she founds herself very tiny. Remember this is magic city, magic city is when one city is made from magic that happens all the time, good or bad things happen. She went to the position store and brought a position named, this is a position which would make you grow back to a normal person for the rest of your life. So she grabbed it quickly and drunk all of it. “Yay I'm back to normal”,she said! So she grabbed the nicest clothes she had and put it on and drove to the concert happy and exciting.
