Olympic Opening ceremony

Mike Mcroberts was reporting at the Kiwi House in london for the Olympic opening ceremony in last night. New Zealanders were cheering and were waving their flags at the Kiwi House.

Did you know that there were fireworks, dancing, singing, instruments, medals? The fireworks were so amazing and fantastic that it blew me away!

Mr. Bean was playing an instrument at the opening ceremony and he was so bored that he fell asleep and had a perfect dream.

It would be so cool going in a helicopter because I heard that James Bond and Queen Elizabeth went into a helicopter so they can see the olympic opening ceremony.


If I was in the audience or crowd I would be so thrilled and maybe fainting already and I will be cheering and screaming for my team NZ! When you were watching the olympic opening ceremony did you see the fiery olympic rings on prime?

Josh and the Tooth Fairy

When my teeth
comes out I put it under my soft pillow and sometimes I kind of put it a glass.


Well my tooth fairy leaves me a gold coin so I could spend it on myself. Did you know that Josh lives on a cool farm called country farm.


When I heard that
Josh’s grandmother said,’’ When she was a little girl she use to put her tooth in a glass of water so that the tooth fairy can come and give her something that she wanted".


Josh is very wrong about putting his tooth underneath the kitchen mat because when his dad was a little boy he use to put it under the kitchen mat. Did you know that the tooth fairy gave a gold coin to josh at night?


I think dad put his cow teeth under the mat so he could trick josh to get the tooth fairy to come to and give him a gold coin but he got a pile of hay. Maybe the tooth fairy didn’t come because that wasn’t a person tooth.

The five interlocking rings are on the Olympic flag are so beautiful!

Did you know that the colours of the rings are blue, yellow, black,g reen and also red and on a white background?

I heard that the five parts of the rings were representing a movement.

 I can not believe that because the Olympic continents are countries like this Africa,America,Asia,Australia and Europe!

Water Polo the Olympics

My Olympic event sport is water polo. It is about men and women playing like soccer but they use their hands instead of legs. I heard that they play in the water because that's why it is called water polo. I picked this amazing and fantastic Olympics sport because it sounds and looks very interesting.




This sport is very wet and kind of like a hard game in the Olympics because you have to game  that you can play. In the water  you use a ball to get a score. The game  haves rules like this you can't use your legs and you can not swim  because if you do swim that you will be cheating to get a score! If you want to win your game you really have you rock out to it and you pretty much have to make sure that you are working very hard with your buddy's!


In1897 the sport water polo started and it was made by New Yorkers. Harold Reader created the first American rules for discipline. Water Polo started in the Paris 1900 games.    


If you want to play water polo you really need equipment like a swimsuit and a ball.


My olympic event space is in the pools. I love water polo because that’s my favourite olympic sport!!!!!!

Rebekah Term Two Reflection

This term I have learnt to make a presentations and also searching for clues or answers in the book. Have you heard that in assembly there is a korero called finish off your work properly ?

Do you know what comprehension means ? It means that you have to understand the story that you are reading and also finish it off . I think I have to show my reading in different ways so I could improve it to my teacher and also my family !!!! Do you want to improve your reading to someone ???? Showing examples to my teacher would be kind of frustrating . I love to answer questions because I like to turn them into writing so I could make it wonderful !!!!

I didn't like the way I done my reading because my report said , “I was below” , and I felt very sad and angry !!!! Finding awesomer in the books is very hard sometimes and it is not good with me. Also my reading task that I do it is not done properly and also it doesn't go well with myself . I don’t like to rush because it make my work difficult !!!!

I have to make my reading improve next year so I could have a great report !!!!

PES Gallery of Fine Arts

When my class room 14 went in to the Art Gallery, we were so thrilled and ecstatic! Did you know that we were so lost in the art gallery because it look so cool ?

My friends saw some beautiful and pretty artwork and amazing paintings !!!

I liked how room 10  did some shiny Patterns because it looked great, good, and almost better then my artwork ! I hope that they are doing great things in their classroom.

Next year I hope that Pt. England will have Art Alive again so I could strive to succeed in my paintings and also drawings!
