Tapa Pattern Writing

A Tapa pattern is a barkcloth made in the island’s of the Pacific Oceans. Tapa patterns are fun and very easy to make. All you need for this fun activity is just die,crayons, brown or white piece of paper, and Paint brushes. Let’s make it. I will show you in 6 easy steps.


The first step to making your fabulous tapa pattern is to make sure you have your equipment ready and make sure you're ready for action, be prepared. Second step, you must draw carefully and start smooth so you don’t need to rush. Make sure you leave some white or brown bits on your paper so you can add your die.

Third step, When your finish drawing on your paper start colouring with your crayons. Fourth steps, When you are finish colouring then you must add die. A helpful set of instructions Rebekah. Maybe you could explain a bit more about the difficult process that was undertaken to create Tapa traditionally.
